- Chris O'Brien - Founder and Managing Director
Chris has owned several service businesses since he was 18. He invented and sold his first waste compacting machine by age 23 and for his efforts was selected as a National Finalist in the MyBusiness Awards 2008.
Chris has put his invention into service in some of Australia's largest companies, universities and government organisations.
He leads Hungry Giant’s national sales team, focusing on finding his customers money-saving solutions that divert waste from landfill.
- Christophe Denoux - CFO & Non Executive Director
Christophe heads the finance department. His team also deals with customer support, supplier invoicing, and after sales service - ensuring the best continued support for our valued customers.
After 10 years of investment banking in London, Christophe decided to call it a day and moved with his family to the sunny shores of Sydney. After months of searching for opportunities that would both save money and be green, he came across exactly what he was looking for - Hungry Giant!
- Huang Lee - China Manufacturing Manager
Huang is in charge of all of our supplier negotiations, as well as quality control, manufacturing processes and auditing.
Huang constantly reviews our processes to see where we can further improve our product, and reduce manufacturing time.
- Paul Trajkovski- Maintenance Manager/ R & D manager
Paul heads our Service and repairs division of Hungry Giant. Paul has extensive experience running his own companies for many years.
Paul brings with him a wealth of experience with mechanical engineering, repairs and servicing.
He is responsible for conducting quality control on inbound machines, testing installing and commissioning new machines at customer sites.
Paul is also heavily involved in research and development of our equipment, noting changes and liasing with our engineers to improve the design.
Paul also has his own business interests, which keep him very busy.
- Damian Chown- Corporate Advisor/ Grants coordinator
Damian works closely with Chris and the team to focus on HG’s positioning in the market place, strategic planning, lodgements of R&D concessions and grant applications with the federal government.
Damian has assisted Hungry Giant for several years now in a consultant role, taking a broad view of assessing our weaknesses and strengths, and implementing actions to always improve our business.
Damian always provides a critical approach to ensure that we are always improving what we do, and how we do it.
